Barstool redo

Here is a picture of a barstool I redid. I think it turned out cute.

Jackson turns 5!

Jackson had a really wonderful day. I am so glad because the night before his bithday he said, "this is going to be the best birthday ever." I think that it lived up to his expectations... :)

Cousin Jakobi and family got Jackson this game. Kya is glad to have a club to play with too.

I was unsure why Jackson wanted these things so badly, but after he opened them he said, " I wanted these so bad they are just like the ones I play with at school."

Auntie Denee really pulled through on the cartoon collectible wallace and gromit series. Jared and I could not stop smiling at the excitement in his face with this one. Auntie Dena and Jackson love watching these movies especially together.

Jackson and Kya mostly picked the candies off of this yummy cake.

If you look at Jack's bumb coverings those are from Grandma DeeAnn and Grandpa Dennis. He really needed those and they fit great with an adjustbale waist.

Jackson's Birthday Party at McDonalds

Jackson turned 5 years old. I can not believe that is has been 5 years since he was born. It has really gone by fast looking back on things. I still remember the vividly excruciating labor and delivery. He was well worth it though. He is a great kid, and we love having him in our home. He really does mind well and he has a tender heart.
He wanted to have a party this year at McDonalds, and was so excited when all his freinds were there. He really had a great time, and enjoyed getting all those pressies. He hardly ate any food, but he played hard.

My mom was such a great help at the party. I don't know what I would do without her. She is an amazing woman. We are lucky to have her. She was holding baby Skyler after taking orders and getting the food.

Jackson opening one of his gifts.

Grandpa Vaughn and Aunt Jeanna came too. Jackson is one lucky guy.

In the happy meals the kids got these mini air hockey games. They were trying to figure out how to use the things.

The table was filled with food at one point. Kids really love McDonald's.

Thanksgiving Play

Jackson had a Thanksgiving play today at pre-school. He was King James and he said very mumbled, " You must go to my church or I will put you in prison." They had a short intermission and then he came back dressed up as an Indian and his line was, " I will show you how to catch fish in the streams, " which he said more loudly and clear. Then they sang some thanksgiving songs. It was really cute. Grandpa Vaughn came and got a love from Kya. Grandma DeeAnn also came and then went with us to Idaho Pizza afterwards to celebrate Jackson's great job.

Feathers

Jared brought back these phesant feathers from his hunt. The kids chased each other around the house tickling each other. When Jared talked to Jack on the phone he told him that he was bringing back feathers as long as his arm. Jackson could hardly wait.

Jared's hunting trip to South Dakota

Jared enjoyed a 6 day pheasant hunting trip to Woonsocket, SD. He shot 12 pheasants, and had a really great time. He brought us all back a Sturgis, SD annual harley ride t-shirt. We will wear them with pride hunny... :)

Pretty Nails!

Kya loves to have her nails painted. She likes to show off her pretties.

Kya's first haircut

Kya thought she needed a haircut because brother was getting one. I think she changed her mind quickly. It is good that her hair is curly so you don't see all mom's haricutting mistakes.

Fits just right

Over visiting someone Kya discovered she could fit under this tree. Jack had to try too.

Halloween 2009

It was another fun halloween. We did trunk or treating at the church and then went around the neighborhood gathering candy. Kya did not want to leave passing out the candy. She must have passed out more than 100 pieces. I think she probably ate as much as she passed. Kya was an elephant, Jackson a race car driver, I was a cowgirl, and Jared a redneck with a mullet.

October 2009 Sunday Pretties

I got this headband at the craft show and Kya looked so cute in it. She even left it in her hair.
